Dental Crowns

When the tooth is too badly decayed or damaged for a filling, we may be able to restore it with a dental crown. This is a tooth-shaped cap that matches the size and shape of your other teeth. When placed on a natural tooth, it will protect it from further harm while also allowing you to bite and chew normally again without worrying about making the damage worse. Our practice is proud to offer zirconia crowns that are so lifelike that most people won’t even be able to tell that you have one.

Tooth-Colored Fillings

Oral bacteria that aren’t removed from the teeth can eventually lead to decay. Untreated decay tends to result in significant oral pain and may eventually cause you to lose a tooth. We can stop decay from spreading any further and repair the damage already done with a tooth-colored filling. This type of restoration is made out of composite resin, which is a very strong, durable, and aesthetically pleasing material. We can shade it so that it matches the enamel around it, making it appear as though you never had a cavity to begin with.

CEREC Same-Day Dental Crowns

Traditionally, placing a dental crown involves two appointments; this is because it takes time for a separate dental lab to make the crown and send it back to the dentist for placement. But at our office, we use the state-of-the-art CEREC system to make crowns in-house. That means we can prepare your tooth, take an impression, create a personalized restoration, and place it in your mouth all in just one appointment! This way, you can repair your smile sooner and not have to worry about making as many trips to our practice.
